Over the last three decades, Keanu Reeves has cemented himself as one of the leading men in Hollywood when it comes to action. From making The Matrix with The Wachowskis to performing most of his stunts in Chad Stahelski’s John Wick films, Reeves has deservedly earned himself the status of one of the best action stars of our time.
But while it was Point Break and Sandra Bullock’s Speed that gave him the boost in the action landscape, these films weren’t Reeves’ first introduction to the genre.

Keanu Reeves just turned 50, and he's still kicking butt on the big screen.
Reeves broke out in the late '80s as the now iconic Ted Theodore Logan in "Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure" (1989) before "Point Break" (1991) and "Speed" (1994) made the actor a bonafide action star -- and that was all before he became Neo in "The Matrix" trilogy. In the past few years, Reeves has also found success behind the camera, directing the martial arts film "Man of Tai Chi" (2013), while still holding onto his indie roots. This fall, Reeves is back playing a legendary hitman out for revenge in the blood action film "John Wick."
From hanging out with the Red Hot Chili Peppers to his days as K.C. Reeves, here are 33 things you probably don't know about Keanu Reeves.
1. Keanu Reeves was born September 2, 1964 in Beirut, Lebanon to Patricia Taylor and Samuel Nowlin Reeves Jr.
2. His mother is an English-born costume designer,...

A Force Of One
Stars: Chuck Norris, Clu Gulager, Jennifer O’Neill, Ron O’Neal, Bill Wallace, James Whitmore Jr., Eric Laneuville | Written by Pat E. Johnson, Ernest Tidyman | Directed by Paul Aaron
This week is sees a double-bill of Chuck Norris releases with The Octagon and now A Force of One. Chuck Norris again plays a Martial Arts expert, this time focusing more on karate so none of the mysterious and unknown art of the ninja (sarcasm of course). The question is will the spooky whispering be back or will this one be taken more seriously, and will he sound less like a serial killer.
In A Force of One Chuck Norris plays Matt Logan a karate champion and teacher of the martial art. When an undercover narcotics force finds itself being eliminated by an assassin while searching the source of a drugs problem they look for help from Logan.

The Octagon
Stars: Chuck Norris, Tadashi Yamashita, Karen Carlson, Lee Van Cleef, Art Hindle, Carol Bagdasarian | Written by Paul Aaron, Leigh Chapman | Directed by Eric Karson
Chuck Norris, the man and the legend, he’s made movies that can truly make you cringe; for all the wrong reasons. The Octagon in some respects is one of these cringe-worthy films with its truly strange script and its use of the “ninja”, but we can’t blame Norris of course or he’ll give us that intense stare and probably whisper to himself some philosophical thought that would warp our tiny little minds. Yes, if The Octagon is to be believed Chuck Norris has an internal monologue and it’s a whisper, which sounds very much like a serial killer planning your death. Chuck Norris is Scott James a man haunted by his past. Trained as a martial artist with his friend...

I watched Morgan Stewart’s Coming Home a scant three days after I saw Adventureland, and I could not help but be struck by the similarities between the two. Both were aimed squarely at the teenagers of their times, both aim for some degree of profundity (though this means something really different to each set of filmmakers) and both feature a budding romance between a geeky young man and a free-spirited young woman. I was as surprised as anyone to find that I liked Stewart a whole hell of a lot more.
Jon Cryer, the man who spent the better part of his popularity trying to recreate the success of Ferris Bueller’s Day Off (a film that he did not appear in), portrays Morgan Stewart, a young hellion who (according to the back of the box) has been kicked out of 10 prep schools in the past seven years. After his latest incident,...
