How to change your name on Facebook
You can always change your name on Facebook as long as your profile meets our guidelines. Follow the steps below to change your name on Facebook.
Change your name on Facebook
The quickest way to change your name on Facebook is from Accounts Center.
  1. Review our name standards.
  2. Click your profile picture in the top right of Facebook.
  3. Select Settings & privacy, then click Settings.
  4. Click Accounts Center.
  5. Click Profiles, then click your account.
  6. Click Name.
  7. Enter your name and click Review change.
  8. Click Save changes.

If you're having trouble changing your name, please let us know. Keep in mind, you can only change your name every 60 days.
