I've came to the conclusion that I enjoy writing the most when I'm doing it for someone I know with a prompt (as for the Luau or The 5 Acts Meme), or when I have directions on what a even a stranger might want (a fic exchange or such).

Once in a while I get it right and the reaction of that person makes my day/week/month. =D

So this post (I'm making it a sticky, in fact), is a place for you guys - anyone, everyone is welcome even people I don't know [yet] - to tell me what you'd like. I am not promising a fic automatically to everyone, though, not next week or even next month, no deadline, but maybe it will spark the muse and I'll be able to give some of you lovelies something.

There's a fandom charity auction going on called Marvel Trumps Hate. There are 236 creators and 354 auctions offering all types of works and all types of Marvel universes, fandoms, ships, and characters. I want to give a shootout to nostalgicatsea and her team for all of the hard work, it's beautiful to see what is happening!

2017 has been a productive year in fic for me! I worked on various challenges and wrote several stories that I put on AO3. BUT I also used to link here and I don't know why I haven't done it since February? Yikes.

Suddenly I have an urge to not spend my vacations at home, so I was wondering WHERE to go in July. I figure that I could:

a)     go visit someone.
b)     find a person(s) who'd want to travel with me somewhere. I don't know...
        a cruise in the Caribbeans, visit a cool city, or something else! Anything!
c)     some sort of last minute fangirl gathering would be awesome :)

I am open to suggestions in the comments! I'm on vacations from the 10th to the 30th of July as it is (though now I guess I could change those weeks). I may be looking for a trip that lasts a week, 10 days, two weeks maybe. And when I say going to visit, it doesn't mean I need to be with someone all day every day, I can be pretty autonomous in my explorations!

I did one holiday fandom exchange this year for cap_ironman, where I had to make a minimum of 1000 words gift for my match. We all had to fill a form with a list of 'wants' and 'do not wants' plus long and short prompts. A LOT of the prompts from my giftee were great, so I wrote… 3 stories. Started one, got stuck, wrote a second inspired by my giftee's art, was still stuck on the first story so I wrote a third, and then managed to finish them all. The canon is Steve-less, but I brought him in, of course. That's the one I am writing a sequel for, by the way. :)

Yes, yes, this is the third of three bigbangs I had to post in November! And the longest of them all, too! This particular story was written for the Cap-Ironman bigbang. I've been writing those idiots all year, though not much was posted publicly. So here is one way to make things right, after Captain America: Civil War.

I did find an article that gives the basics here, though! I wish I had read it before I poked around the website trying to understand it, it's pretty well done.

By the way? I am not sure what is the etiquette to start talking to people there that I haven't interacted here or elsewhere for years. Are they glad we took different paths? I write stories, but I am under no delusion about my talent as a wordsmith. I consider I do okay for a second language, anyway.

A literary genre I know little about is poetry, though I can admire beauty when I come across it. But write it myself? Very intimidating.

I was totally floored by a poem by my friend lab_jazz, and it came with a template that she totally transcended in my opinion. But since it came with instructions, sort of, I dared to try too. Mine is very verbose, oops.

Hey lovelies! Not dead, just busy :)

• work is insane, but my bill of law was proposed so we'll see how that goes (that means it will be crazy for the forceable future, that is what it means. *sigh*)
• weather is WEIRD, and too cold, but hey, it's not winter anymore so win
• i'm all over the place writing wise, I'd need a story to focus on but I write bingo fills that are just okayish and linger in the WIP folder
• been busy with volunteering lately. it's fun but cuts on the time off
• i am tired
• i've been putting on glittery nail polish lately and I like it. I've never been a nail polish person, ever.
• suddenly, I'm following a gazillion WIP on AO3, this was a very bad decision
• i can't manage my tumblr for shit
• i just booked tickets for 3 WEEKS IN HAWAII THIS SUMMER \o/
• a week each for Maui - Big Island - O'ahu (suggestions of things to do more than welcome!)
• (now I need to find places to stay that won't ruin me)
