Yes. LEGO 2K Drive features an in-game store, Unkie’s Emporium, where players can acquire optional items including new vehicles, minifigures, and more. There are two types of in-game currency: Brickbux, which are earned through playing, and Coins, which are purchased with real currency. At launch, all items in Unkie’s Emporium can be purchased with Brickbux. Coins can also be used to purchase more Brickbux. To ensure parents can make the right decisions for their kids, all players must create a 2K Account before they can make any purchases in Unkie's Emporium. Parents have the ability to block real-world money purchases in-game for any 2K Account registered to their child.

LEGO 2K Drive Standard Edition and Awesome Edition are available for physical purchase on PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. LEGO 2K Drive Awesome Rivals Edition is only available for digital purchase.

LEGO 2K Drive is localized in English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Polish, Latin American Spanish, Japanese and Korean (voice and text). LEGO 2K Drive supports text localization only for Dutch, Danish, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese and Thai.

No. Instead of a selected difficulty level, LEGO 2K Drive uses a feature called Race Difficulty Assist that scales the challenge of races to be appropriate and engaging for any skill level. Race Difficulty Assist can be disabled via the Options if you so choose.

The driver of your vehicles in LEGO 2K Drive is a Minifigure that you'll select from a roster of premade designs, with the ability to unlock more Minifigures via gameplay and optional purchases in Unkie's Emporium. LEGO 2K Drive's customization is focused on your collection of vehicles; there are no plans to let you customize the visual details of your Minifigure driver.

Physical discs of LEGO 2K Drive Awesome Edition for PlayStation®4 and Xbox One are playable on new-gen consoles within the same console family. A PS4 game disc of the LEGO 2K Drive Awesome Edition will play on the PlayStation®5 but requires the PS4 disc to be inserted into a PS5 with a disc drive to play the PS5 version. Physical discs of LEGO 2K Drive Awesome Edition for Xbox will work on both Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
