We are pleased to advise that the Law Society Tribunal’s 2023 Annual Report is now posted on our website.

Convocation has passed additions to Rule 13 of the Tribunal’s Rules of Practice and Procedure. As of January 1, 2024, notices that affect the openness of a Tribunal case will be posted to the Tribunal’s website, on the Case Documents page. These notices will also be emailed to interested members of the media. To be added to the media list that receives copies of these notices, please email [email protected].

In order to better reflect our independence from the Law Society of Ontario, the Law Society Tribunal has updated our email addresses. Tribunal email addresses now end in @lstribunal.ca instead of @lso.ca. Emails to previous Tribunal addresses will be automatically forwarded to the intended recipient.

The Tribunal’s Notice to the Professions and the Public regarding operations during COVID-19 has been updated; the date through which we will not be holding in-person hearings has been extended.
