When you place an order through landyachtz.com, you are entrusting us with your personal information and we take great responsibility in handling this information in a secure manner. We believe that protecting the digital privacy of our customers is of the utmost importance. Your personal information, although it is shared with Landyachtz, belongs to you and we endeavour to ensure that is remains as such. When we refer to “personal information”, we mean any information about an identifiable individual, excluding card information – your payment information is handled and secured by Shopify or PayPal, not Landyachtz, both of which carry full PCI-Compliance.  

Your personal information will never be shared, traded, sold or used in any manner not explicitly approved by you. We do not swap mailing lists, share information or sell it. Only authorized Landyachtz employees are allowed to access to personally identifiable information. When you purchase through our website we are required by the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) to store a limited amount of personal information. This information also helps us protect you in the case of a lost or missing receipt, because we can reissue a receipt for your tax purposes.

When you place an order on our website your credit card information is handled by Shopify & PayPal, not Landyachtz.  These payment providers carry full PCI-Compliance and are under strict security regulation. The only circumstance under which we would divulge any personal information to a third party is upon subpoena or order from a legitimate court, police agency, the CRA, or if requested by a credit card issuer in the case of a dispute. In any case when your information is shared, Landyachtz will demand reasonable assurance that third parties will protect your information in conformity with our privacy practices.

We use Google Analytics to collect statistical data about our users’ website experience and does not provide any information pertaining to a specific individual.
