Plurimum sui cursús vitae in Collegio Vassarensi Poughkeepsie in oppido Novi Eboraci professor degebat. In Collegio Vassarensi anno 1890 matriculavit, et gradum A.B. anno 1894 accepit. Ad Universitatem Cornellianam migravit, ubi cum Carolo E. Bennett studuit, et PhD anno 1909 accepit, dissertatione de The Sea in Greek Poetry (de 'mari in poesi Graeca') scriptá.[1][2]
