Musica domestica[1] (Anglice house music), vel simpliciter domestica, est genus musicae electronicae saltatoriae quod Sicagi Illinoesiae decennio 199 ineunte ortum est. In discothecis quae homines Africanos-Americanos et Latinos-Americanos attrahebant factum est,[2][3] primum Sicagi circa 1984, tum Novi Eboraci, Novarci, Torontone, Monte Regio, Detroiti, Franciscopoli, Angelopoli, Miamiae, atque in aliis Americae Septentrionalis urbibus. Postea Europam attigit cum House Music Tour Angliam peragraret.

Quattuor quartae partes tactus insignis est, quartae parti omni percussio tympani est. Velocitas carminis domestici inter 120 et 130 PUM (i.e. percussiones una minuta) variat.
