Diane Freis Vintage & Gold W Matching Scarf Evening Gown, Black

This is a stunning, very unique Diane Freis Original sheer black and gold shiny evening gown with a matching sash style scarf. We acquired this evening dress from a woman who had the most unusual Diane Freis dresses we've ever seen! The dress has gold glitter designs with sparkly gold outlines of flowers and stems. The gold part is more concentrated towards the hem, the bust and sleeves. Like most Diane Freis clothing, there is the signature elastic waistband for versatile sizing. The shoulders have big shoulder pads to give it some structure and the cuffs have a black and gold braided trim secured with plastic snaps. The sleeves of the dress are a batwing dolman style and there is a pretty tassel at the center of the neckline. The back of the neckline has a keyhole opening with a double fabric covered button closure. The skirt is pleated from the elastic band to the hem and there are large box pleats, which gives the skirt a lot of volume. The inside lining allows for up to 48" hips, so we also considered this a "free" measurement. Made in Hong Kong. 100% Acetate body and lining. We estimate this would best fit a modern size M/L or 8-12.
