We use genuine leather that has been cut and engraved with our laser machine. They are thoroughly cleaned and oiled before they get a protective sealer. How to care for your hat: Your leather patches should not be cleaned nor should they need it - but if you need to you can use a sponge with a little bit of water to clean it up. You can spot clean the sweatband and inside of the hat with mild detergent but do not put your hats in a washer machine or dryer. It can damage your hat. Make sure to air dry your hat if you need to spot clean it.
