This is a thick gauge slightly adjustable ring designed so that it can be slightly pulled open to get over larger knuckles ,then pressed back closed. Very few artist do this. And to give our rings an added hardness for longevity and detail, we also texture the surface in several areas all the way to the edges. This helps to define contour and encourages the ring to gently hug your finger. We use bare solid copper wire with no plating and and no coating. This allows you to either allow the ring to patina or keep it highly polished with a small polishing cloth.
