I used my carbide scraper to get the majority of the finish off, which saved me a lot of time when it came to sanding. Then, I used 120 grit to sand the whole thing down. 

This wood had some red undertones so I used a little bit of sage green paint mixed with tan paint (50/50 water and paint), brushed it on, then wiped it off immediately. 

As a final step I used @varathane water-based poly in satin using a stain pad applicator and TA-DA! 

She’s a beaut!
