After ages of searching we finally were referred to one of the best doctors to help diagnose in Utah.
Turns out Soy and I are NOT friends, in the words of the doctor "you should avoid soy like the plague"
So we are starting a new journey being soy free in the Kidman household. After a rough start we are starting to get the hang of it, we think, and my health is improving everyday!
My dear sweet husband is a trooper and very helpful so I have to say a huge Thank You to him for all his support.
Hopefully I can post some great recipes and share some of our ups and downs living Allergy Free.

I Forgot I Had A Blog...
My first new obsession has been herbal and rooibos teas from http://www.teavana.com/
Right now through the end of the month they are running a special to get a free cup of tea so go check it out!
It has helped me drink more fluids because I get tired of lemon and lime water and the teas allow me to change up the flavor without adding anything that hurts my stomach or makes me feel fuzzy headed.

It's Cold In Utah!
I had to make a last minute trip to Utah to ensure all is well with our home we are renting.
I was amazed at how mellow the winter has been. I then also had to laugh at how cold I have been coming from the warm weather in Texas. I can now fully appreciate the beautiful winters in the lonestar state.
It has been very enjoyable seeing friends, but it also helped me to realize that my life in Texas is wonderful and we have made some really great friends and are excited to launch our business and get helping people.
I know that I have some amazing friends, and no matter the distance that spans between us we are always there for each other. I count my blessings everyday for all the amazing people that come into my life to help me in ways I didn't even know I needed. So with this post I just want to thank everyone in my life for the support and love they have and continue to give me. Here's to another amazing year of growth and happiness!
Reason, Season, or Lifetime
People come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime.
When you figure out which one it is,
you will know what to do for each person.
When someone is in your life for a REASON,
it is usually to meet a need you have expressed.
They have come to assist you through a difficulty;
to provide you with guidance and support;
to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually.
They may seem like a godsend, and they are.
They are there for the reason you need them to be.
Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time,
this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end.
Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away.
Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand.
What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled; their work is done.
The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on.
Some people come into your life for a SEASON,
because your turn has come to share, grow or learn.
They bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh.
They may teach you something you have never done.
They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy.
Believe it. It is real. But only for a season.
LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons;
things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation.
Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person,
and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas of your life.
It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant.

Pinewood Derby!
Today was our cub scout pinewood derby!
We were in charge of the garage where they would bring their license to race their cars.
There were some really creative ones, an eraser, a piece of cheese and a mouse even a crayon!
The boys did so well and we had a lot of fun.

The Truth Update
It has been a long time coming but the past few days I have been busy and enjoying life again.
I cannot believe how wonderful it was to feel tired, in a normal busy tired kind of way.
I better start from a while ago, throughout my life I have had problems with my immune system.
I was sick quite often and on and off anti-biotics more than most people. Along with getting sick a lot came stomach issues and chronic fatigue. I was also diagnosed with ulcers and hypoglycemia when I was in Junior High and High School.
It had been so long of feeling ok, that I had forgotten what it felt like to feel great.
It all came to a head between Thanksgiving and Christmas, I was sick and tired of being sick and tired.
I wanted my life back and was determined to do all I could to get it. I began doing more research into candida overgrowths. Having already gone gluten free for several years I was still having issues, my moods would shift rapidly and I was always tired, I began to get fibromyalgia symptoms on top of stomach issues.
So here I am just over a month into a yeast free, gluten free, dairy free, sugar free, fungi free, white starch free life and I am feeling better everyday. Some days are better than others, but always an increase in coming back to who I am and how I want to feel.
My sweet husband decided I needed to start blogging about what I was going through because we feel it would be helpful to others, possibly someone who is struggling with the same symptoms.
So cheers to blogging and updates!
