I'm currently having an issue with my webhost, so basically everything is down right now D: It should hopefully be resolved sometime today, but I haven't gotten an exact time frame yet.

This month's challenge at retro_icontest was honestly so much fun; I love random options. A lot of these really made me think and helped get me out of the creative rut I was falling into, so that' nice, too. So at first I struggled to come up with what I was gonna make for part of this month's challenge at retro_icontest: remake your style. Cuz I've basically always had the same style, or at least the same attempted style- I was just significantly less good at it when I was starting out. tbh, I thought on it for nearly a month before I realized the answer was staring me in the face the whole time!!!

Sparkle icons, duh! When I wasn't making grunge-y fandom icons, I was pumping out only the sparkliest freebies back in the day :D So, I made some in that style~

Also, it's just all enstars this time, idk what anyone expects from me anymore XD I really do try to make a variety...so at least I made some other characters for once? ;D My "artist's choice" theme was to make all icons from No name yet, featuring Kohaku in the secret color of his outfit.

This MV made me insane and I immediately had to screencap the whole thing for icons- so here it is! I might do another pass at it once it actually releases in game + I have all the outfits unlocked, but the small song name in the lower right corner is pretty easy to crop around for most things. After, um, over 5 years, I have finally made a new layout for this journal!!! It's a somewhat simple one from tessisamess, but I think that'll let the graphics themselves shine through :D

Also it's purple, I love purple~

On top of that, I went through and added character tags to all previous entries, so now you can filter by more than just the series! idk why I didn't do that from the beginning- I guess I'd been doing it this way for so long that I didn't think to? WHATEVER.

Let's give a belated happy birthday to killiansicons ♥ btw- last month marked 21 years of me making icons. Here's to many more!!!!

Anyway, I'll more icons coming soon; I've been having fun with challenge communities + continuing to be inspired by enstars, so tune back in soon!!! :D

Here's my entry for Round 24 at retro_icontest :D The challenge involved using two screencaps in eight different ways, and I had a lot of fun getting creative with crops/textures/etc to keep all of them looking fresh~
