Abstract:	[Dt.:] The great mirror ist ein Bildarchiv, das von Bret Wallach, ein Geographie-Professor an der University of Oklahoma. Die Datenbank enthält Motive aus aller Welt, darunter auch welche aus Indien, Bangladesch, Pakistan und Sri Lanka. Es handelt sich hauptsächlich um Landschaftsbilder, Alltagsmotive und kulturelle Szenen. Zu jedem Bild gibt es auch eine kurze Beschreibung. Zudem enthälte jede Sektion eine längere allgemeine Einführung. - [Engl.:] The Great Mirror is a global website on cultural geography, modern artistic images and documentary character of a high quality. All photos and captions were taken by Bret Wellach, a geography professor at the University of Oklahoma. The collection of Indian photos is structured into 13 chapters with a focus on agriculture, irrigation and transportation, before concluding with sets of British inscriptions from buildings and tombs. Furthermore there is a large collection of photos taken in northern India concerning architecture (different cities and villages) and landscape.
