Welcome to Miami!

We just got back from a cruise! We went Miami, then Key West and Cozumel!

We went with Kev's brother Steve his wife Holly, and then met up with my brother Brad and his wife Jen. The whole trip was so awesome!!

This is us in the airport waiting for our flight. We grabbed a Quizno's. Kev thought he was funny and put a piece of the wrapper on his tooth. I think it looks like he chipped it. He cracks me up! (Check 1st picture)

Holly and I on the plane ride to Miami.

Steve and Holly at dinner. Such a cute couple, don't cha think!?

Brad and Jen... I love these guys!

Our room!

Dinner... we are such dorks! I promise I am having fun! Sometimes my serious face just makes me look mad! Not the case!

All of us (minus Holly- taking the picture) standing on the pier at Key West. You can see our ship in the background.

Parasailing!!! Sooooo amazing! Highly, highly recommend it!

We went so much higher than I expected! The boat looked tiny from way up there!

There were these super yummy key lime pies covered in chocolate! You could buy them all over the place. So good! Kev and I got one to share, it was hard to share!!

Key West... the southern most tip of the U.S.

We rented these scooters! We had a blast riding them around! They are the best way to get around town there, for sure!
Checking Holly's teeth for cilantro...we had the BEST fresh salsa in Cozumel I have ever had!

Kev and I on the boat...on the ocean!!!

We went on a snorkeling boat that had a glass bottom so you could see the fish! The water was BEAUTIFUL! Steve went under to pose for a picture.

Mi amigo, Milfred! While everyone else was snorekling (I really don't like to snorkel), I hung out on the boat and had Spanish lessons from Milfred! I learned a ton, I think I would pass Spanish 3 now! He is Mayan and taught me "How are you?" in his language: "Bosh-ko-wall-y". I have no idea how to spell it, but that's how it sounds! I think I had more fun than those out getting stung by jelly fish! (Yup, they all came back stung! Sorry guys!)

Holly and I at the Pier in Cozumel
K, this night was a little ridiculous! I don't know if you can tell by the picture, but between Kev and Steve, there are 8 desserts!!! Yum... and Yuck!

This is Jen holding a bouncy ball. Believe it or not, this was a huge source of our entertainment on the ship! We found a ton of them in the teenage lounge (more on our level!). We were throwing them all over the place the whole time, but mostly at each other. I got one in the ear, 3 or 4 on the back of the head, and one on the hand (just to name a few). That one hurt the worst! Kev got hit in the mouth and his tooth started to bleed! Yes, easily entertained!

We hit the Sushi Bar as often as we could! Yummm!
To sum it up, we ate a ton, played a ton, and relaxed a ton. All the factors to a fantastic trip!

She's 8!!

I have struggled with when I should make another post (since it's been FOREVER) and decided to just do it! There have been so many huge events that have happened, and I could go back and try and catch up. But that seems a little overwhelming. So, I am starting from now! So here it goes... My Tay is 8! She was baptized this past weekend! It was such a good day. I loved that it was her day and I just got to focus on her. She is AMAZING!! Grandma gave her a book and I watched Taylie walk over to her and say, "Thanks Grandma! I love it! It's so cute!". I didn't even have to do that whole, "K, what do you tell Grandma" thing! She has just grown up so much! I really am a lucky mom!

Our picture in the paper!!

My little bro works at the Marketing department at Lagoon and invited us to "Media Day"! The was a whole bunch of TV stations and newspapers. They were introducing and promoting their new ride, The Jumping Dragon. It is seriously such a fun ride!! I loved it! Kyla was the only one of the kids brave enough to try it at first, and that was after 15 minutes of coaxing!! The Salt Lake Tribune was there and got published the following story: (click on the 2nd picture!)

Ellie finally decided she wanted to go, and I'm thinkin' that probably wasn't the best idea. She screamed and cried the whole time. In fact, if you ask her she will tell you, "I screamed and cried the whole time", but then admits that she liked it. You'll all have to go on the new ride this summer, Kyla and I "laughed our heads off the whole time"!!

Kyla...

Kyla turned 5!! Happy Birthday Ky!! I seriously don't know what I would do without her cute little personality around! She told me the funniest thing today. She was telling me that someday, when she has a baby, her husband is going to take good care of her and her baby. I told her that nothing would make me happier than if she had a husband that took good care of her. She said, "Well Mom, I will have a good husband because you are going to choose him for me!!". I am all over that plan!!! I need to get that in writing!! I told her I would gladly take on that task! I think she brought up the whole baby thing because she is so excited for her little brother or sister on the way! She talks to my belly all the time. She said that she wanted the baby to know her when he/she comes and wants to take good care of her/him! She is such an easy-going little thing and I feel so blessed to have her!!

Once there was a snowman...

Kevin made a hill in our front yard so the girls could go sledding. They got a new sled for Christmas. They LOVE it!

He pulled them all around the yard while they all laughed and screamed! Doesn't he look graceful!
He helped make a snowman for each girl. I'm glad he likes the snow so much. I wish I was more of a snow fan! Actually, I love the snow... if only it weren't so cold!! I guess it kind of goes hand in hand, right!!

Disneyland!

Update finally, I know!! We had so dang much fun at "The Happiest Place on Earth"! It was all decked out for Christmas and was amazing!

Goofy and Pluto were crackin' us up, of course!

Ellie was in heaven because she had Daddy 24/7!!
We hit all the kid rides!

And what is Disneyland without Mickey Mouse Pancakes?!

We waited in line for like a half an hour to see Tink! Well worth it!!

Minnie was so adorable in her snowfake dress!

We saw all the princess after princess! When I asked the girls if they wanted to go ride more rides, they would say, "No, we want to go see more princesses!"

Ellie was so fun to watch talking to the princess. She would say "Are you Ariel? I am Ellie! I like your dress!" They would sit and talk to her forever because Ellie would just keep asking questions! It was hilarious!

We love Mickey!!

We went to Ariels Grotto for some "dinner with the princesses"! Ariel, Belle, Arora, Cinderella, and Snow White all came to our table to talk to us and get pics. The girls LOVED it and the food was amazing!!

It was like a dream vacation! The girls were sooooo good and happy the whole time!
