A big step awaits tomorrow... the 1st of November.
I'm excited, nervous, unsure of what to expect, terrified but also just glad that life is moving on and things are happening for me :)

Alone on a Saturday Night
Sigh, how pathetic...
I know I always say that I'm cool with being on my own and enjoying the peace and quiet with no one else to bother me, but gee today happens to be that rare day when I felt like having some social interaction and couldn't get it...
It so happens that my parents are away for an over night trip, and my mind was immediately thinking about all the naughty things I could do hahaha! The first thing that came to my mind was going to MP, because I've never been.... but after scrolling through my phone and computer I realized I have no gay friends to go with! Like there was no appropriate person to ask. Then I started thinking about random things, like bringing a guy home, since he can spend the night with me and we can cuddle and all in my bed........ Don't worry, there's no guy in my bedroom now LOL! Decided that the risk was too high just in case my parents came home early.
I somehow managed to resist the strong urge to go to the sauna or get a massage, because like I've said I'm looking for something more meaningful now, and sometimes when you're feeling a little down/lonely, going to the sauna and having casual sex only makes you feel crappier about yourself.
So I resorted to the only other thing that could make me happy: Shopping & Food! Went to Pavilion by myself, and gosh walking through the large crowds by yourself also kind of makes you feel crappy... In the end, I didn't find anything worth buying, so I bought some food home, and had dinner in front of the TV in an empty house.
Which makes me think, being gay may call for a lonely future, like years from now when my parents are gone, and my siblings are all married with their own family, I would be returning from work to an empty house, eating dinner by myself, and then going to bed and going to work the next morning, repeating the cycle of loneliness..... Hahaha OMG I should start thinking about getting a cat LOL!!!

The Man I'm Looking For
I was chatting with another blogger about dating and asking him to set me up with his friends that are suitable, because to be honest there really isn't much other ways to meet PLU. Like you guys said the gym is meant for eye candy-ing only, and I'm just so bored of the guys on Jack'd, like no one catches my eye, and most are in for fun only. I don't go out to the scene so I won't meet new people, by the way what or where is the scene? At clubs like MP? Nahhh....
Btw, yes I feel like I'm ready to date, or at least trying to get something more than just casual sex. I'm at a good place emotionally, mentally and physically now.
So back to the topic of getting set up with a friend's friend, he then asked me what I'm looking for....... which is like such a good question. In that instant, I just couldn't answer it, it's like the answer can be so vague yet so specific....... and after more thought, I started thinking about the man I envision to be with....
In the end, there were so many things I could come up with, I joked that it can be written into a book titled 'The Man I'm Looking For', though it's more like a fantasy / ideal man type of thing, but yeah...... some criteria that definitely needs to be fulfilled in my opinion.
Feel like mentioning it all out here, just for the record, but right now I feel too tired to construct proper chains of thoughts and sentences...............

Arabian Nights!
OK I'm done with all the serious posts for now... it's time to get petty and gush about hot guys again!!
There's this guy that I noticed since I joined this gym, he was there right from the start, but I didn't pay too much attention on him, NOT because he's unattractive, but because he has never looked at me and gave eye contact until today. Forget about Snow for now, he clearly doesn't know I exist.
I'm not quite sure what race or country he's from, but would it be offensive if I say Middle Eastern? Or is it Arabian or Persian? Forgive me for lacking in understanding of the technicalities or nomenclature of people from that part of the world. It's just like some people think it's offensive to say Black people, and perhaps the more appropriate term is African American. So would anyone like to suggest what is the respectful way of addressing our friends up North?
OK.... technicalities aside, let's just focus on this guy! Damn he's hot... the only negative point is that he's not as tall.... recently I've been bitching about height with my Nun sister hahaha and how I don't find guys that are shorter than me be considered manly (in my eyes). OK back to the hottie, so he's not the most vertically gifted, maybe just a tad shorter than me, but he makes up for it with a toned upper body! gosh I know I'm superficial, but we're in eye candy territory :P
And unlike the stereotypical guys from his home, he wasn't hairy at all! Yes, I totally checked him out in the locker room! The most magical thing happened today: TIMING! Incredible how a series of events when timed correctly can just make you notice someone! We both finished our workout at the same time, stripped to towel at the same time, went to shower (separate stalls!) at the same time, I came out like seconds before him, we both got dressed in the same time, and I walked out of the locker room with him tailing right behind me!! The best part? On my way out, there was this large mirror on the wall, so I stopped to fix my hair for a quick second and he was looking at me in the mirror... Not direct eye contact, but eye-mirror-eye contact hahaha!! BAM!!! Pretty sure he's gay based on the colourful and bright underwear that I saw him put on! The combo of (Underwear + gym) is such a give away of sexuality.
Haha ok I know this means nothing, I don't have a crush on himyet, but damn now I just want to see him in his underwear more often!! TIMING hahahaha :P

Safe Sex: Know your stuff
So this post is long overdue. I mentioned I was going to write about safe sex practices, intended for our younger or perhaps relatively uninformed or inexperienced readers that may or may not be taking their first step into.....the joy ride hahaha! I say there's no harm in banging it out if you do it the right way, because you are not really a grown man until you have sex and make that physical connection with another person.
Obviously I'm not the most informed, I'm sure there are many (older :P) bloggers that know way more than me. But I will just share some of my personal precautions.

OK, personally I have 3 golden rules that I always repeat to myself (like a mantra) before going to saunas, massages or any date:
1. No condom = no fuck
2. A dick that has been inside the ass doesn't go into the mouth (even if a condom was used)

My 3 Fashion Must Haves
Haha since I'm still on a fashion high after the recent h&m launch, I would like to share with you the 3 most important things I think are absolute fashion essentials for any men. These items will be based on my personal style, which is more street, and hence I will not cover high end branded stuff or very formal things like suits (even though every man should have one), etc.... This is more of a everyday style type of thing :P
1. SUNGLASSES
Literally man's best friend. Life saver. Has a more functional purpose than anything else in my wardrobe. Protection from the Sun, UV rays, dust from entering the eyes. When I drive I gotta put my shades on, otherwise it's too hard to see with the glare. Also your best friend when you're out on a sunny day. When you're feeling lazy and don't look as good as you normally do, there's nothing better than to hide behind a pair of sunglasses when you need to get out of the house to run errands. Some people like to dress up for flights, but I do the exact opposite, especially on long flights. I tend to board the plane bare faced and without any wax on my hair with the intention to sleep.... coz if you leave makeup on for too long your skin will breakout. Therefore, when you look super un-glamarous with oily skin and ugly hair once you reach the airport, putting the shades on while working your way through the crowd will spare you any embarrassment! :)
Sunglasses are not necessarily expensive, you just need to look around. I like BIG bug-eyed lenses (think Powerpuff girls lol). Find one with the lens shape that suits your face, and make sure it's not too heavy because it will be uncomfortable when it's pressing against the nose bridge.
2. JEANS!
Love it or hate it, denim is simply too iconic to ignore. Everyone should invest in at least 1 pair of great (perhaps pricey) jeans. It may take some time to find, because no two pairs are exactly the same in terms of fit, pattern and cutting, even if they are from the same brand and line. Therefore you really need to spend time trying many pairs on. As a general rule, I would say go for straight cut jeans, because they are suitable for most people, not to mention most comfortable. Skinny jeans or those super skin tight ones are only meant for people with skinny thighs and calves (like me!), so it should be avoided by our bulkier friends, unless you want to look like a bloated sausage casing. Colour wise, I think it's really dependent on your taste.. personally I like the classic dark blue that is slightly bleached looking (not even tone), and shades of black/grey denim is also very sexy. Oh and I DON'T think jeans with intentional holes are 'in' anymore, it's cheap and cheesy. Just my opinion.
Speaking of denim, I must point out that denim should only be worn on the lower body, and not upper. Denim jackets are ridiculously tacky, so if you still have yours from the 90s (or even longer ago), then perhaps it's time to reconsider. I wouldn't throw or give it away for sentimental reasons, but probably wouldn't wear it out either.

Okay I know leather shoes are more towards formal / work wear, but I just can't resist some nice leather! Every man needs some leather! :P Leather shoes are not the cheapest, and they require consistent care and maintenance such as polishing and being careful not to scratch it when worn in order to have a long life. Whether you're going for a formal event, or just want to sharpen up your smart casual look, a good pair of leather (I like black) goes a long way. I sometimes even wear it with jeans lol. Personally I'm not very good at picking formal shoes, still lack experience in this division... when I go into a store and see a sea of leather, after a while they all just look kind of the same to me. I guess the obvious things are like the shape of the tip, whether you prefer a rounder, squarish, or sharp pointy look. I personally don't like the pointy looking ones. Ultimately, I think the 2 most important criteria for formal shoe hunting is BUDGET and COMFORT.
