Details: Edwardian Belle Époque diamond pendant (and brooch) from the early 1900's. There is a count of 50 diamonds, the largest being 5mm and 1/2 carat. There are 5 large bezel set Old European Cut diamonds and the balance are bead set and bezel set rose cut diamonds. Mille grain work on all edges is meticulously finished. The center five diamonds move independently of the surround. A very pretty piece in excellent condition. This piece comes with an appraisal. The gold pendant tests at 18K and the 16" chain is 14K gold. The pin is marked 750 for 18K. The front of the pendant is white gold to show off the diamonds and the reverse of the pendant including the pin and clasp is yellow gold. Both clasps work well; the chain's spring clasp as well as the rollover clasp of the brooch. Total weight is 9.9 grams. The pendant alone is 8.9 grams. The pendant measures 1 3/8" wide X 1 2/8" tall.
