552K views · 10K reactions | Fluorescent Pink Is Amazing in the Acrylic Pouring Swipe Technique | This Fluorescent Pink is Sooo Pretty! This is a diptych (2-canvas) acrylic painting. I can not wait to see this under blacklight! This is my new favorite... | By MollysArtistry | I am so excited because I have found my new favorite color combination, fluorescent pink, and aqua green. I absolutely love it. The base color is a panes gray by Creative Inspirations. It's this beautiful dark blue color. And then I'm using a little bit of copper and a little bit of a metallic blue. I cannot wait to show you this end result. I personally think it's stunning. So I'm adding my colors down and then I'm going to swipe across. I originally thought maybe I should swipe across both canvases but I decided to swipe them each individually and to have them hopefully still go together. Look at those beautiful cells start to pop up. I have been enjoying swiping so much lately. It gives such amazing results. If you're working with smaller palette knives, you can't swipe little sections like I'm doing here. You don't have to have a very large palette knife to swipe the entire thing. I personally think it gives more interest to swipe in small pieces. I'm adding just a little bit more paint to the edges so that I won't lose my design over the edge and instead it will be the blue negative space. I absolutely love the colors and love the lacing as it's stretching out. I think in my studio, I even let out a little squeak of excited happiness. And if you wait to see how they dry, they dry much darker. It is a striking effect. Take your time when you are stretching these paintings out. There is no need to rush this part. Get the design exactly how you want it. Look at these colors and this lacing and the tiny little bit of copper just really brought this painting to life. The fluorescent pink is one of my new favorite colors. And that turquoise green is stunning but look at how dark that blue dried, almost black. The copper, I call it copper bronze because it's a mixture. Gives such a beautiful shine to it. This painting made me happy. I hope it does you too. Thank you so much for following along my journey. I appreciate you all. Hope that you enjoyed the video. Happy painting.

33K views · 762 reactions | Primary Colors - Magenta, Yellow, and Blue | You can make so many different colors just from magenta, yellow and blue! This was an experiment with primary colors and while the composition is not... | By MollysArtistry | I wanted to try a little experiment with primary colors. So, I am using primary yellow. I am using primary magenta and I'm using Phalo Blue and I wanted to see if doing a thin paint straight pour with just paint and water would create these muddy colors that I didn't care for or if they would still come out bright and I will say, I was pleasantly surprised by this one. I always expect a little bit of mixing and I definitely got that so you can see there's some green, there's some orange, a tiny hint of purple and that's just from those primary colors mixing together to give me secondary colors but I expected that those colors would make some brown colors eventually or some colors that I didn't care for and honestly, there weren't that many in this painting. So, I was very happy that I did this. I have mixed a little bit more paint just so that I wouldn't have to stretch out the design too much and I will say my composition was not exactly what I had hoped for. Normally, I get these really pretty agate stone-looking formations when I do this type of painting but I really do like the colors that came out. You can see a little bit of the purple. There's this beautiful peach color, a bright line of magenta, lots of blue, and tiny hints of yellow in there and so I would say that I do think that this was a successful experiment with the primary colors. I did get a few jagged lines that I wasn't in love with but you can see with just paint and water how beautiful these colors mix together you've got all these intricate lines of color you've got the beautiful peach color that's there it made a dark green color you've got tiny little bits of purple and little yellow veining so I was really happy honestly with this you can see some of the colors even underneath almost as if it's transparent So this is what it came out like and I will say I was pleasantly surprised. I love that peach color. It made some beautiful, deep, dark greens and purples that I really enjoy. And so if you only have a few colors to work with, break out your primary colors and see if you can mix some on your own. This was definitely a fun experiment to try.

325K views · 4.2K reactions | Big Beautiful Blue Swipe! | I loved this painting so much I had to make a second one! The motion and the colors are my favorite! #art #artist #artwork | By MollysArtistry | This has definitely become one of my favorite techniques. This is a puddle pour swipe. And the results are really really cool with big bold blocks of color and the beautiful swipes. And I liked this painting so much. I did a second one and I'll show you the pair of them at the end. These did sell at Ardi Gras. So I was really happy about that and they sold as a pair together. So I'm using a prussian blue with paints gray mixed in, a sky blue light, turquoise green, a little bit of Thalo blue, and a little bit of turquoise blue and this was a true ocean color themed painting. I had these huge jugs that I was working with. I mix up lots of paints when I'm going to be doing large artwork. I'm just layering the Thalo Blue in all of the different spaces. They don't have to be in puddles but just to make sure that I can cover all of the canvas and I wanted to use up what was left in the container. Pouring out of such large containers definitely has some air bubbles so you want to make sure you get those out. Next, I come through and blend the colors together by running this tool over them. This is just a head scratcher. And now comes the fun part. All of the colors start to blend together as I take the palette knife and swipe it over the colors. Super fun design and you really want to think about your composition and where you swipe because that's going to create the motion in the painting You can never go wrong with this color combination. Whenever I feel like I just want something that makes me smile, I always come back to my ocean blues. This was a two-foot by four-foot painting and it was a little bit difficult to move the paint around. I had to go to my other side of the table but I am loving this piece already. Super pretty lacing and sells really beautiful colors. And as I said, I liked this one so much. I made a set. I made another pair to go with it. Here they are. Look at how pretty they are and they go together so well. I was so happy with them. Tons of details and interest to look at and lots and lots of motion which I love. Such a fun set. I was so happy that I made these and that they came out well. Hope you like em. Thanks for watching.

I am so excited for this painting because believe it or not I haven't done one like this before. I am doing a three panel ocean wave. And it's not going to be like my regular waves. Where I have a very pointy tip to the wave. This one is going to be a barrel wave and you're going to be looking through it crashing down. I also decided to add a little bit of blue into the white this time to almost make it look like a true sky with clouds. This is paint and water and I'm using my blow dryer to move the paints around. I just find that it gives a nice, even layer to the painting this way. I'm starting with a little bit of pains gray. And I'm going to layer that a couple of times. And that is going on just a dry canvas. The canvases that I buy come pre gessoed and so you don't have to do anything to them in order to start painting on them. I like to use Artist Loft level three canvases and I get them from Michael's. I'm just drizzling in all of my beautiful blue ocean colors. And already I'm loving this painting and I haven't even blown it out yet. The white is going to lighten and brighten everything up. And then I'm going to take my blow dryer and blow this out. You want to take care of which way you're blowing and how you've angled your dryer because it really can affect how the painting looks. And already I can see this painting is turning out exactly the way that I wanted. And the way that I'm blowing with the blow dryer is creating that look of turbulence and the crashing wave. I'm crisscrossing my areas and that's how you get that look. That the water is moving across. I'm trying to take care to blow in the direction that I want the wave to look like it's going as well. And here I just left this open. I decided not to make this a pointy tip of the wave. And here it is and I am so happy with how it turned out. It looks almost three D. The streaks of blue in the center are just perfect. Looks like you're looking through it to the sky. I absolutely love the colors. And I'm just so pleased with this painting. Thanks for watching. Happy painting.

Although it took a long time, because winter is really approaching here in the Netherlands and the days are getting colder, so also in my art studio! Brrr! But the wait was worth it, because it’s really SUPER beautiful! FULL VIDEO NOW on my YouTube channel (video #38) I recently made a test painting, and it turned out so beautiful that I used exactly those colors for this MEGA large canvas! Be well informed about the different masks. Your health is very important! If you have a ventilation system, turn it ON and leave the door open (for a while) so that the toxic gases can escape! - This spray paint dries very quickly, so it’s important that you work quickly! - Spray paint is very flammable for the first few minutes! Never run your torch over it right away. Wait there for at least 5 minutes and never directly ON the spray paint!! - Never stop experimenting!! 😉 #acrylgieten #acrylicpainting #acrylics #art #dutchartist #fluidartist #fluidart #marjoleinart #kunst #liquitexbasics #atelier4c #acrylicpouring #abstractart #gold #puddlepour #spraypaint #mixedmedia #beginner #creationvideo #instaartist #amsterdampaint #winsorandnewton #experiment #metallics #swipe #australianfloetrol #tutorial #pearlescent | MarjoleinART - Fantasy Artwork
