I painted this pot for the bougainvillea plant that my mother in law gave me. Unfortunately, while I worked on the flower pot, I had the plant on my coffee table, and my dog's tail knocked off all of the pretty flowers. Oh well, next year the plant will be as pretty as the pot it's in. The pot was a plain terracotta pot from the hardware store. I used acryllics and sprayed it with a clear, matte finish. There are two butterflies on the pot; one on each side.
