Think in 3D - When drawing contour lines, it’s crucial that see see through the entire form, not just the silhouette. Make sure that you are imagining the other side of the form, even if you can’t see it. 2.) Following Perspective - As your form begins to turn, anything coming towards us will result in your contour line shifting angles.
