19K views · 670 reactions | Funnel Christmas Tree | Let’s make a crazy pants fun Christmas tree out of Dollar Tree funnels and ribbon! #blessingscrafttherapy #HolidayCrafts #dollartreediy #easycrafts | By Blessings Craft Therapy | Hey, everybody. It's Colette with Blessings Craft Therapy with another project. Friends, let's make a Christmas tree out of these Dollar Tree funnels. Whoo. So much fun. Okay. So, first thing I do is take some Dollar Tree ribbon. I cut em into four-inch strips and then I fold them in half, glue em and then now, I'm gluing them onto the funnel. I'm starting with the big funnel and I'm overlapping them just a little bit but I'm gluing them all the way around. Um forgive me. I don't remember how many of these I did but it quite a few and then I think I did three rows and you want to just make sure that you kind of alternate so you're covering one one seam with another one does that make sense and there you go look how cute alright and then this is what I was talking about before it's a four inch long piece of ribbon and fold it in half glue it and then we glue it on and now this is the middle one and look at this cute plaid now I suppose I could have done all the same ribbon or fabric or whatever but I was doing alternate not oh coordinating fabrics or ribbons. Now, for the top one, I'm doing a bead of glue. I'm folding this in half but now, when I put a little extra glue on and I'm going to do what's kind of like pleading it, I just fold it over on itself so it makes this cute little I don't even know what you call it but that's what we want. Okay, so this is the smallest one and I put a bead of glue on and now what I'm going to do is make like a I don't know I guess a pleading I'm pleading pleading it all the way around so I just do a little piece of glue then fold it on itself then another piece of glue and go all the way around the funnel this is the very end of it where I just put another bead of glue on the pleat and then I fold the very end piece you know the edge I fold it in on itself put another piece of god I love glue this hot glue it it covers so many mistakes and it's very forgiving so there you go look how cute right now we're going to glue on all of those little those little I don't even know what they're called but those little pieces that we did earlier. We're going to glue those ones on. So we're going to go all the way around and glue our I guess they're kind of like petals. I guess we'll call them petals. But super cute. It reminds me of like a a fun 19 eighties prom dress or a bridesmaid dress. Whatever. Alright. So then the very top I'm going to put some glue on it and then I'm putting some ribbon over it. See how I put it on the top. And now I'm going to wrap the ribbon around the you know put a little glue on and then just wrap it around so that way we cover that funnel part and we also cover the top of those little petals that we made so that there's no raw pieces of ribbon showing. So ha ha. Smart right? Maybe there's a smarter way to do this. I don't know. But anyway so there's that. I thought it was kind of cool. Then after that I just stack. Now you could glue them together. I didn't. You just stack em and then I put a little dotted glue on the top and I did a little bow and I glued that on and I put that on top and ta the. Look at how cute this is friends. Thanks so much for watching. I hope this inspired you.

It's Bathshem using this adhesive wall tile and tumbling blocks from Dollar Tree. I started by wood gluing the tumbling blocks together. The bottom row is going to have eight glued together side by side. The next seven and then six so on and so forth until I have three at the top. I let those set for about half an hour before I worked with them again. Next I'm gluing together a cube of nine tumbling blocks. I glue three sets of three and then stack those on top of each other gluing them into place. Next I am taking the sets I made. Starting with the eight on the bottom and then the three on the top. Wood gluing those together. Again letting those set. I then take the wall tile and I am placing the tumbling block tree on top of that trying to get it as centered as I can and tracing that out and then cutting it out. I'm using tacky glue to glue that down onto the tree. I prefer using the tacky glue over hot glue because sometimes it will melt the tile and mess up the shape of it. So I placed the tree down and let that glue set and then paint it with moss color chalk paint by Waverly and I covered the entire thing giving it full coverage. I also paint one single tumbling block with that same color. Ended up using 43 tumbling blocks total. Thirty-3 on the tree. The group of and then the one single one. Once the tree was dry, I took my fan brush and antique white acrylic paint by Folkart and distressed over the texture on the tile. And then take antique wax by Waverly. Brush that on the cube and then blend that in with a baby wipe. Next I wanted to make an extra large bow for the top of the tree. So I'm taking this raffia I get from Amazon. Making big loops out of it. Until I have it the size I want and then use raffia to tie it in the center. Leaving those strands long so I have several tails coming down. And then take some muslin fabric. Make a bow. As well as two extra pieces to make some tails for that bow. And then glue the raffia bow to the top of the tree. The tails with the fabric. And then the bow on top of that. Next in taking some rusty bells and I am tying those onto some twine. Getting those the lengths I want them. One a little bit longer than the other and then cutting off the excess twine on the end. Then take that tacky glue again and brush that on those knots on the twine so those will stay in place. And then take that and hug glue it right underneath that bow. I flip the tree around and hot glue that single tumbling block to the bottom. And then glue that tumbling block as well as that tree and place it down onto the cube as my little stand. That is it for this project. Thank you so much for watching.
