Description

The FairPlay Software Security team consists of experts in the following disciplines: Security solutions development, cryptography, Red Team assessments, anti-piracy, and many others that combine to protect Apple’s services and platforms. As Engineering Project Managers on the team, we are responsible for the smooth interaction of this team across the entire Apple ecosystem. It is a huge responsibility, a huge challenge, and for motivated individuals, hugely rewarding work. On this team, you will: Work as part of an extraordinary development team Work closely with teams and partners worldwide to shape the roadmap, build new features, and ship software releases to millions of Apple customers Be responsible for fast, scalable outcomes and delivery. Working closely with internal and external partners, you'll drive technical integrations through to completion Have the freedom to bring new ideas and develop innovative solutions to gain efficiencies in the build, development, testing, and deployment lifecycle Drive discussions with enthusiasm and energy, leading to the design of new experiences for Apple customers As an EPM, you will need to be able to: Facilitate the project end-to-end, all the way from kick-off, development, QA, business, legal, documentation to deployment Drive engineering deliverables based on external commitments and program objectives Capture requirements, build connections, anticipate challenges and get projects to launch Credibly represent the team and our goals to engineers, managers, executives and third parties Juggle the sometimes conflicting requirements and schedules, and find solutions to address them This is an exciting, always changing fast paced environment where you will be responsible and relied upon. Minimum Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience leading complex and large cross functional projects, leading and running complex software/hardware production schedules.
  • Strong leadership and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Analytical mindset
  • Equally comfortable in a lively technical discussion or providing status to executives
  • Ability to anticipate problems, make well-reasoned decisions (including prioritization) and follow through on them
  • Experience working and managing overseas team members
  • Familiarity with the software lifecycle and development process
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal), French desired but not required
