Oscar Peterson @ 90 Concert Livestreamed




Céline Peterson, Oscar Peterson’s daughter, hosts this celebration of Oscar’s life and music, and the launch of the new CD, Oscar, With Love. Some of the best pianists in Canada and around the globe gather to play Oscar Peterson’s compositions live in Koerner Hall. Robi Botos, Oliver Jones, Kenny Barron, Benny Green, Gerald Clayton, Renee Rosnes, Bill Charlap, and a host of others, reunite with Oscar’s piano, which is being transported to the RCM for this special night, to play the songs they recorded for the legendary pianist.

Seven of the 17 pianists on the recording – Kenny BarronRobi BotosBill Charlap,Gerald ClaytonBenny GreenOliver Jones, and Renee Rosnes – will play Oscar’s music, on Oscar’s piano, their way … They will be joined by Dave Young on bass and Oscar’s daughter, Céline Peterson, will be the host for the evening
