Graphics are really some else! Looks dope. I wish there were more animations because the visuals are really really nice.
I could say that game is pretty rough here and there but I think you know it yourself better than anyone else! At least there is a diversity of gameplay mechanics. Congrats on nailing the look if the game.
Interesting concept :) Controls feel weird (button selection) at first but I got used to them. Very nice as first time 3d :)
nice game.
Nice concept. I also loved the art style very much. A little bit audio would have made a lot of difference though. I've got two issues. There was a slight drift at the beginning of the game, where the player character seemed to be drifting towards the left on its own. Also, I never managed to interact with the shopkeepers. I can open their menu, but can't buy anything.
Good concept!! I did run out of enemies at the end (like Phindie mentioned), but the sprite style is really cute and it could be a really neat little game if each action provided a little more feedback, like a visual cue for the flag, some audio, stuff like that. I didn't feel entirely clear on what cooking or sharpening really does due to the very limited number of enemies, I'm not sure if my knight had even confronted enough enemies to dull his sword :D
Nice idea. I started running back to the shops after my knight got to fighting. But after that I got back I couldn't find any more enemies. I flagged my knight for many screens but after the first few there was just nothing.
I think it's better if you could switch modes without pressing escape. I also couldn't detect a progress bar for cooking for sharpening swords. Having visual representations of the squire's state (and preferably progress) would make the game much more readable.
Fyi, 'source' is a field where you can indicate where the game's source code can be found (in case you open sourced it).
Thanks! The actual gameplay is sadly barebones :( I was going to make a longer level, but then I tried turning it into a survival type (unlimited enemies, but I must have made a last minute change that broke it, oh well). Also, that's a good idea for switching modes without pressing escape, I bet the game would be more fluid that way.
Also thank you, the source field makes sense to me now!
