Taste era il nome del trio formato da Rory Gallagher chitarrista irlandese (1948-1995), Richard Mc Craken (basso) e John Wilson (batteria).
Il gruppo incise tre LP in studio, Taste (1969), On the Boards (1970) e due dal vivo, tra cui Live at Isle of Wight un memorabile concerto tenuto all'Isola di Wight nel 1970. I Taste si sciolsero nel 1971 e Rory Gallagher intraprese una splendida carriera da solista con altri musicisti.
