Mary Undoer of Knots — The Meaning Behind the Medal
One of the favorite devotions of Our Holy Father, Pope Francis, has been said to be Our Lady, Undoer of Knots (also referred to as Our Lady, Untier of Knots), whose feast day is observed Sept. 28. The devotion begins with a German nobleman of Augsburg, Germany, in 1612. Read more on our blog!
Our Lady of Undoer of Knots: Call upon Mary’s intercession for a strong marriage 💒
The devotion begins with a German nobleman in 1612. Wolfgang and his wife Sophie were on the verge of divorce. Wolfgang sought help from Jesuit Father Jakob Rem. Over 28 days, the two met and prayed for Our Lady’s intercession. Wolfgang gave his wedding ribbon to Father, who took the ribbon from the couple’s wedding ritual. Together, they prayed to Our Lady to untie the knots of their marital struggles. The divorce did not happen.
The Light Collection
Today we celebrate the Transfiguration of Jesus. The day that Jesus became pure light and remained a living, breathing human being. The mission of Jesus was to forge a path for all human beings. An invitation to be transfigured in heart, mind, soul, and body and resurrected as Jesus was into pure divine humanity — a way to live this life in physical form, yet completely united in God.
New Blog | Feast of St. Joseph
The Powerful Intercession of St. Joseph 🙏 After 40 years of marriage, my husband decided that he wanted to become a Catholic and began the RCIA (the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults) program in the fall of 2018. During Lent in 2019, his business was in crisis. I suggested that we both say a Novena to St. Joseph. This was my husband's first Novena as well. We faithfully said the Novena together for all nine days. Adina's Journey to Medjugorje!
"I know that God lives in Medjugorje partly because of the people who honor His love. I felt God present in the women weaving. I saw God in the eyes of the visionary as she shared how her life has changed. I touched the statues that gave me goosebumps. I cried at the beauty of the rock mountains and landscaping. I received God in Adoration and through Mass at every Chapel and Church." Tap the link to read more of Adina's journey to Medjugorje. // MSMH Mission Development
