Decided to make variants of weapons allfather Odin's spear Gungnir

Another design exercise based on a personal IP. Got inspired by the trick weapons of Bloodborne and wanted to design my own versatile fantasy weapon that could, on paper, adapt to almost any combat situation. The sword spear consists of a one-handed arming sword and a long bludgeon similar to a mace. Put together, it transforms into a polearm capable of keeping foes at a distance from oneself.

Since there is so much concept art available for this game, I felt a need to create a page to show it off. Hope you enjoy!

Weapon design project from a concept art class at Brainstorm School. The weapon is from a personal project surrounding the world of Cynaeus (sin-AY-us), a water world where the inhabitants wield water magic. The weapon can be used traditionally for battle but can also assist with water magic.

The Arms of Sparta were an addition to Kratos' arsenal in God of War: Ghost of Sparta.
