Fall is perfect for trying your first apple pie. Something in the cool air inspired me to turn on the oven and practice my first creative pie crust design. I thought a pretty crust was out of my reach, but if I could do this, then you should try too! I'm so pleased with how it turned out. I recommend using a cookie cutter if you have one.
