Yes!!! You can’t expect to be hateful to your child or child’s spouse (or both), or to have not been there for your child growing up and/or as an adult and think you automatically get to be in your grandkids lives because you’re “a grandparent”. That’s like expecting to be a grandparent to kids that belong to a child you placed for adoption. Doesn’t make sense. The way I see it. Unfortunately my kids life is full of disappointments from people on their dads side. I don't have to allow that on my side!
