This handsome southwestern style necklace has a leather medicine pouch as its pendant. You could easily stash a few coins or good luck charm inside. The necklace chain is a very thing leather cord and measures 32 inches long with the top of the pouch adding another 3 inches. The tiny purse measures 5 inches high by 3 inches wide. It fastens with a carved cow bone leaf. It has a few glass pony beads for color. All pieces are in good vintage condition, with no markings. This Deer Skin Neck Bag is larger than the other neck bags, and will still be very comfortable wearing it. The total width is 4 1/2"with a usable width of 4.0" and is 4 1/2" deep. The fringe is approx 2 1/2" long. The strap measures approx 34 1/2" long, not counting the fringed ends. The button is cut from Deer antler. This item is a beige colored deerskin leather medicine bag which is 4 inches long & 3 1/2 inches wide. It has a beaded rosette on the front of the bag with long fringe & wooden beads on the sides & bottom of the bag. There is a flap with a deer horn button to keep the bag closed. The neck string is 24 inches long on each side. The bag has sinew stitching around the edges.
