Victorian Reproduction Necklace

This Victorian reproduction necklace is the first offering in our new line of Victorian/Edwardian inspired jewelry, from Orsini-Medici Embellishments. As authentic Victorian and Edwardian jewelry can sometimes be cost prohibitive, I wanted to design a line that had all of the charm, elegance, and details of the real thing, but at price points that are affordable. Many of the findings and stampings are made from authentic period molds of the era. You will find a mix of materials in this collection, not limited to Swarovski crystal beads, Czech glass beads, and charming vintage cabochons. This necklace drapes so beautifully on the neck at just 19 inches long from clasp to ring, and consists of three types of beaded chain. They are caught up with large intricate brass filagree findings, and are connected by a sweet rosette cabochon. From that hangs the main pendant in the form of a black stamped Victorian mourning medallion, with a tiny French guilloche enameled rosette center. The medallion is mounted onto a large, tear drop shaped, antiqued brass filagree pendant. From the main focal point, more faux jet linked beads are draped, and encircle the final tear drop faux pearl.
