Green Aventurine Drop Earrings, Sterling Silver, 14K Gold, 18K Gold

I was drawn to aventurine because of its wonderful rich green coloring. I love the mossy green inclusions and the subtle sparkle of mica. These tiny flecks of mica add depth and interest to the stone. These earrings are sawn out of sterling silver sheet that has been textured with a pebble pattern. The long-faceted drops of aventurine have been bezel set in fine silver. The backs of the earrings have been sawn out to allow light to enter from the back illuminating the stone. A disk of 18K gold accents the bottom of the earring. The earrings dangle from a solid 14K ring of gold and a gold fill lever back. They hang approximately 2" from the top of the lever backs to the bottom of the earring. They are light in weight and easy to wear. I think the green, silver and gold color combination make these a striking pair of earrings. I hope you think so too!
