I had an incredible opportunity to design on Dark Phoenix (2019). The shape shifting Aliens were a large part of it. It was a long journey to the final look. I made this creature during a five day workshop I gave at CIME art. My goal was to show my workflow when doing short assignments. It was my first time teaching, and I really enjoyed the experience. Thanks to Pierre Soulié for giving me this opportunity. I wanted to do something disgusting, and the idea of the parasite growing in its host until it got much bigger and I really liked it.

All these designs were done back at Edge Fx for various projects that didn't happen....but i always loved the sihlouettes of these that i will eventually finish in 3d some day.:)

The Flatwoods Monster was an alien that was sighted on September 12, 1952 in Flatwoods, West Virginia, USA.
