This Minecraft tutorial explains how to make an End Portal with screenshots and step-by-step instructions. In Minecraft, an End Portal acts as a doorway from the Overworld to the End dimension. There are 2 ways to make an End Portal, you can either build the frame yourself or you can find a frame already assembled in a Stronghold.

The stronghold is an underground structure that occurs naturally in the Overworld and is the only place where an end portal can be found. Strongholds can be located by using an eye of ender. Strongholds generate at any Y level, mostly underground, and prefer to generate in biomes above sea level, but generate underwater if necessary. Strongholds may generate at bedrock level, cutting the bedrock. Most parts of the stronghold can be overwritten by caves, ocean monuments, abandoned mineshafts…
