3 Album Leaves (Woodman, Raymond Huntington) ⟨User:Hoeger [#38002]

Hello,

So one thing you should try to avoid doing when uploading on here is uploading your files by movement if possible. If you did plan on engraving the third piece as well from this work, you should really combine all three movements together in a single file as we do not want to be taking up extra file blocks getting added onto a page from the same contributor and instrumentation. It is best to present a complete edition of all movement in a single file before you upload your files on here. For recordings, that is harder to prevent this afterwards so if you have to upload by movement for those, that is fine, but for sheet music it is best to merge them together when it is applicable.

OK actually there is a difference between the movement files as one is for 2 guitars as an option and the other is for guitar, still my advice needs to apply to your uploads if you do tend to upload the same exact instrumentation in separate movement or piece files for sheet music.

Hello, of course. But I don't do these transcriptions just like that, ad libitum, but from a technical point of view, according to feasibility. For example, the first piece is not technically possible with one guitar without any loss of quality - and that's what all my arrangements are about. Whereas with the second piece, everything fits very well! Apart from that, these pieces in particular are not individual movements, but individual pieces, as you can clearly see from the original, as each piece consists of a separate music booklet, which has been put together here. But of course, if possible, I try (as described above, not always possible) to edit all the movements and publish them in one go, not separately. (But I would like to make this clear if, for example, it is only one movement of a sonata or that the musician knows from the outset that it is only one part. But otherwise, as I said, I agree with you!

Even as a collection, you can post the files still together even if they are separated pieces if they are the same instrumentation in terms of the workpage. The main reason is to keep the file block count down vertically and not take up so much space, where a 100 piece workpage could be brought down to a single file for example for space reasons.
