Vintage 1930s brown & orange polka dot cotton dress and puff sleeve bolero jacket, Size M / 1930s dr

Adorable polka dot 1930s cotton dress and bolero jacket set. Cute V bust seaming and there are two pleats either side for bust fullness. Dress goes over the head and closes with a 9 inch metal zipper on the side . Bolero jacket has puff sleeves which are gathered at the shoulder seam and hold the shape well. Darts on the front and back below the shoulder yoke and at hem which open up for bust fullness. Closes with cute shell buttons. Fabric is medium weight cotton. No tags present, probably a home made piece. Condition - Excellent, besides a faint rust stain on one sleeve of the bolero jacket that I was unable to completely remove (see last photo). Measurements - For reference, the dress form measures B35 W25 H36. Slightly too big on these measurements and is pinned at the waist and bust to show better fit. The perfect bust measurement for this set would be 37/38 inches, but works for 36. Dress Bust: 36-38, 38" is max bust Empire Waist: Up to 31.5", this is the ribcage measurement. Waist: Up to 32 (measured 16" below shoulder). Hips: 43" (measured about 9 inches below natural waist) Bodice Length: 12 to high point of V, 13 1/2" at lower point of V Length: 44" Bolero Bust: 36-38" Bottom hem: 32" Shoulder: 15" (measured on back between shoulder seams) Sleeve circumference: 13" Length: 17" I have done so much work getting this set as perfect as possible. Every time I thought it was clean I would find another small stain, enough to drive you dotty lol. Hence, it has been soaked and various stain treatments of baking soda and hydrogen peroxide, hand washed and ironed. Layaway is available after an item has been listed for 2 hours with 20% deposit.
