Anne Choi Gingko Bead With Chrome Diopside, Peridot And Green Jade

The stunning green gemstones used in this bracelet, contrast nicely with an artisan bead made by Anne Choi. She is a well know artist who makes limited edition beads in the lost wax technique and casts them in small lots. This one features gingko leaves carved in sterling silver. Gingko trees in Japan are symbols of endurance and vitality. The gingko tree survived the atomic blast in Hiroshima. In China, they are symbols of hope and peace. We all need a bit of that in our lives. On either side of the Anne Choi bead, I have started with gorgeous chrome diopside faceted rondelles, blending slowly into green tourmaline, peridot and jade, creating an ombre' effect. Each gems is meticulously wrapped onto an oxidized sterling silver ball head pin, that is then polished to a light shine. The bracelet is finished with sterling bead caps around a large peridot bead, sterling crimp beads, French bullion and bead covers. I have used one of my hand forged hook clasps. The other end has a portion of chain, six large links, that allow for a perfect fit. At the end of the extender chain is a sterling leaf. The bracelet measures 7 1/2" and fits wrists 5 1/4"- 6 3/4" comfortably. It measures approximately 1/2" in diameter.
