1940s American pink/cerise hat with veil

Here we have a fabulous 1940s 'statement' hat. The hat is American in origin no makers label, just a size label 22" The hat consists of beautifully crafted felt leaves in cerise and hot pink, atop a cerise felt 'cap'. The hat is trimmed with a flowing net veil or mock snood that hangs down the back...this 'snood' is decorated with little felt bows. Elastic to hold onto the hair. The hat is in good condition.... The 'snood' veil needs a steam. Size 22"
