Inspire My Play ® on Instagram: "A little bit of chia seed fun for you! If you’ve never tried it, it’s a really interesting texture to play with, great for swamps, ponds etc…and makes a change from regular water play. This can get messy though so take it outside if possible and wear old clothes! . This swamp is a watered down version of other chia seed play we’ve done. We used 6 cups of water with 1/2 cup of Chia. Once refrigerated overnight it gives a nice swampy effect! . This was simple to set up with some foliage from the garden and a few branches, as well as animal figures. . You can buy chia seed in bulk on Amazon and it’s much cheaper than the supermarket and as you only need a little bit each time, a packet lasts for ages! I’ve found black chia seed tends to be cheaper than white. I really can’t wait to see their faces on Monday when I open our sensory table to show them our snowy construction site! (I can share more about it on Monday!)
