A flattering square neckline tops things off, met on each side by puffed sleeves, extending to the wrists in a classic Regency winter look. The back of the bodice is truly designed to be seen on the ballroom floor - four rows of Venice lace will ensure that everyone will notice you as you dance by. The same lace lines the front of the short bodice, met with an empire waist, the hallmark of the era. More refined details line the bottom of the skirt: black beaded rosettes, velvet, and lace.
