Wendell Willkie
Wendell Lewis Willkie (nama lahir Lewis Wendell Willkie; 18 Februari 1892 – 8 Oktober 1944) adalah seorang pengacara dan eksekutif korporat asal Amerika Serikat. Ia adalah kandidat Partai Republik tahun 1940 untuk jabatan Presiden Amerika Serikat. Willkie menyanjung beberapa delegasi konvensi sebagai satu-satunya intervensionis dalam ranah Partai Republik: meskipun Amerika Serikat masih netral sebelum Serangan Pearl Harbor, ia mendorong keterlibatan Amerika Serikat yang lebih besar dalam Perang Dunia II untuk mendukung Inggris dan Sekutu lainnya. Lawan Partai Demokrat-nya, Presiden petahana Franklin D. Roosevelt, memenangkan pemilihan tahun 1940 dengan sekitar 55% suara populer.
