Today is 'thesaurus day', which I didn't know was a real thing - and yet here we are. I was thinking about what word I believe to be the most important within my role, and with the clients that I work with. And for me, the word 'empathy' always wins. I find that so much of my job revolves around finding empathy, leaning into empathy, teaching empathy and so on. Not only this, but working through empathetic fatigue, and helping other professionals do the same.
