When I found out I was having a baby boy back in April, I knew exactly what I wanted to do with his nursery. Nursery's catered towards the "newborn" themes are great, but I wanted something practical and decor that we could continue to use for a long time. My husband is an avid outdoorsman and I was raised with some western-styled influences that have carried on into adulthood in the way I dress and decorate. I knew I wanted to incorporate both of the things we love into his nursery,

I am so lucky the family of this litttle guy let me help to capture his first year. He is just the cutest. His one-year storyboard is at the end of the post (newborn, 6-month, 1-year). All of the photos are with his grandfather's saddle and chaps. Do they really have to grow so fast in one year?
