I have another boomerang quilt to share. This one's pattern is from Jaybird Quilts. I loved her take in only solids so I decided to do all solids as well. I used Moda Blueberry Thicket bunch for this and added navy for the outside. Once the quilt top was put together un-quilted, I realized it need custom quilting or the pattern was going to disappear. 90 x 90 Another paper pieced boomerang quilt finished! I never thought I would be making another one of these quilts. Fortunately, I learned a few things from the last paper pieced quilt I made. It is still super difficult to get the points to end up in the correct location. The background color in this quilt is Kona Parchment even though it looks a bit gray. Boomerang Quilt

Norene made this beautiful quilt called Boomerang. I decided to custom quilt this one. I triple scalloped the border and did some ruler work in the setting triangles. As for the blocks, I chose 2 different designs and then alternated them as I moved across each row of the quilt. Towards the end of the quilt, I was losing some of my creative juices, so there are a few repeats of my favorite designs. All in all a pretty fun quilt to do! Thanks Norene!
