Oh handball!

We had skills clinics tonight and they went very well...could have had a little more participants, but otherwise...it was a success in my books!

I had made up 'nickname' name tags so participants and coaches all had retarded nicknames. For example our coaching staff was: Heather "good times", Jade "the Sheriff", Kenny "Sassy Pants", Jeremy "Pure Magic", Jaimie "le Tigre", Jamey "The Big Show", Di "Sparky", Nancy "the Minx" and Heather "I love pie"

The next one is Sept 26th, so if there are any Tobans out there who want to learn how to play a crazy cool sport...you know who to contact...:)

Oh wait...I bought tea cups from Royal Dalton today....70% off! Thats totally a steal! How's that for something to say? I heart tea cups! :)

My new creation!

Well, I was 'finally' able to make a heart that actually looked like a heart. I was beginning to doubt my mad glass cutting skills...but then Voila!

So this is basically it, they are limited edition (only get one when you buy Vera Wang's latest fragrance 'Princess' at the Bay Polo Park this weekend) and they are also in pink and white.

I think I'm also adding a little more crystal 'bling' to it as well...I have day to decide.

Keepin busy as usual. I've been working on sending out promotional material to my buyers cause I was absent from my regular trade show this year. I made this really swift looking post card, well at least I think its pretty swift! :)

Ciao for now! My weekend is busy, busy! I have another catering job, and somehow have to appear at a house party aaand a team windup weekend...and then somehow play at a 9am football game.

Wow...I totally don't have much to say right now...AT ALL! I decided to take photos of me in my uber hot 'unibrow' protective glasses cause I've been cutting glass for the last hour or so.

I own this really cool band saw...it has a diamond blade and I can cut glass while going in any direction...Its super sweet except one time the blade broke off and shot though my thumb. My thumb has since healed...so don't worry about little ol me!

Hmmm...what else? My neighbours across the street from my parents house had two apple trees FULLLL of apples! FULL! So I offered to pick their apples and in exchange I will make them pie. Now I have sooo many apples and after cooking pies all day, I don't want to cook any more pies. So...uh...if anyone wants apples...

Hmmm...my buddy Ian mentioned the wonderful new slogan that us Manitobans now have. We have switched from the good ol "Friendly Manitoba" to "Spirited Energy"...Yeah, I dunno either really...I'm not sure how that capsulates the whole feel of Manitoba. At least when we were "Friendly Manitoba" chances are that you would meet a friendly person or two on your trip over here and be like "Yeah, they really are friendly!". But when I think of the word spirit, I think of death and when I think of the word energy I think of hydro...so I guess if you wanna see death and power lines...uh...come to Manitoba! Yeah, I dunno what people were smokin when they came up with that one...

Finally, my order of crystals (for my pendants) comes in tomorrow and I'm happy...happy about that! I like getting new supplies! :)

Fired Up!

Hey everyone! I dunno, I'm just feeling super fired up today...well...more fired up than usual.

1. I love my life: I lead a really cool life and I'm happy and very lucky to be living and loving it.

2. Latest Campaign: I scored another sweet campaign through the Bay Polo Park. This year it is with Vera Wang's new fragrance Princess.

I'm not gonna lie, I LOVE this perfume! I am very fortunate to have been given not one but two delicious fragrances to work with! (the first one was Euphoria which lanched last year). I find Princess to be a very playful and young scent which would be perfect for younger ladies (or those who are young at heart) Since I'm old, I put myself in the 'young at heart' catagory and will totally be wearing this during the day time.



K, so how the promotion works is for a limited time (the weekend of August 25th) if you buy a bottle of this perfume at The Bay Polo Park, you get a piece of my jewelry that I have designed just for this perfume. (design has yet to be made...but I have a great idea that incorporates glass and Swarovski crystal that is going to be fabulous! FABULOUS! I'm so pumped!) 3. I went to the Bomber game with my little cousins this evening and even though the Bombers...uh...totally Bombed tonite....I had a GREAT time! I love those girls and enjoy spending time with them!
