It's as great as everyone said it was. Despite the buggy and bouncy physics, I stayed for the story and enjoyed it WAY MORE than the "story" in Forza Horizon 5. I like that Ashley greets you with something different every time you entered your Garage/Autoshow. I like Ben Miller as a host as he was really expressive to me for every race/championship that I did. The music was unexpectedly great with lots of various for each channel.

Sadly, I have to give it a 75% due to the fact that all DLC cars softlock the game and I couldn't play the expansions.

Really loved this entry in the series. At he time I was so incredibly hyped about the game, the atmosphere is just amazing and still holds up. The game play is great though some design choices were better in the original (like how the events required certain car limitations, this kept the game fresh - the championship structure feels like a grind after a while)

Best Forza Horizon game. It's a shame Microsoft pulled it out from their store alongside the DLCs, making the full FH2 experience unplayable.

Live-Service gaming is killing the industry, and what Microsoft is doing with Forza Horizon is a great example of this, making its older games inaccessible, only to force you to play the latest installment, which is worse than the previous ones.

An absolutely fantastic racing game. Great, customizable handling, and a wide range of cars to drive in, an absolutely beautiful world to explore, a heart-racing and energetic soundtrack that fits the theme perfectly, and topped to the brim with personality and atmosphere. My biggest complaint would have to be the lack of variety in tracks however. For a game that is open world, and has a beautiful world, It's a shame half of the roads are left unexplored if you only were to do the races.

Only complaint I have about this game is the excessive DLC. Too many desirable cars are DLC. Computer opponents love to use DLC cars in races against you, almost as if to rub it in. Other than that, this game is absolutely amazing.

The first Forza Horizon set a new standard for open-world racing games, and Forza Horizon 2 has comprehensively updated that standard. The location is right, the car list extensive, the handling nuanced but accessible, and the visuals are excellent. Above everything it’s always fun, whether you’re in a ludicrous Land Rover race or sniffing out a hidden Barn Find. Forza Horizon 2 is Test Drive Unlimited, PGR, Smuggler’s Run, and Forza Motorsport all crammed into a T-shirt cannon and fired into your face. It wears its inspiration on its sleeves but damn if that’s not a killer combination.
