Will journalists reply to my comments?

Sometimes. We do encourage our journalists to participate in the discussions below their stories and a number of them do on a regular basis. FT writers and editors will have comments tagged with an ‘FT’ badge. Others read the comments and appreciate the feedback, even if they don’t participate.

Also, as you can imagine, a lot of us at the FT spend a significant amount of our waking hours on the site (hi!). As such, particularly insightful, clever or funny comments are often highlighted internally at the FT or externally across social media. Thank you, as always, for making the site more interesting for us and for the wider FT community!
