Why has my comment been put under review or removed?

If your comment shows as under review, this means your comment is awaiting moderation. Although some comments might be moderated after they have been posted, others might be subject to preliminary review for a number of reasons. They may have been caught by a system filter, or the article may concern issues where comments receive special attention. 

Please be patient. Often comments under review are moderated within an hour or less.
