Quartel Jaime Mota gini ne na tarihi a tsakiyar birni mai tarihi (Plateau) na Praia, Cape Verde. Yana a ƙarshen Avenida Andrade Corvo, kusa da Fadar Shugaban Kasa ta Cape Verde. An gina shi tsakanin shekarun 1823 zuwa 1826 a matsayin sansanin soja. Tsarin da yake yanzu a cikin salon Neo-Manueline ya samo asali ne daga shekarar 1872, kuma an ƙara fadada shi kuma an gyara shi a ƙarshen karni na 19th da farkon 20th. [1] Bayan samun 'yancin kai, an ba shi suna bayan Jaime Mota, wani ɗan gwagwarmayar Cape Verde na PAIGC wanda aka kashe a Guinea Portuguese (yanzu Guinea-Bissau). [2]
